In my home, my mother always claimed to like cornbread and milk while we ate whatever she cooked. Since I am older I wonder if she really preferred cornbread and milk. There was a period of time in the thirties when we received “commodities.” We were like poorer than I knew. Sounds suspiciously like your mother not liking cake.
Lovely quote. My Father & Grandparents raised me & my Father & Nanna would have said that if there was not enough to go around. They were wonderful people!!
Welcome Shraddha to Thee Purrfect Pad….I hope you will enjoy Purrince Siddhartha Henry’s blog posts.

There are many many posts Shraddha…I’ve been on WP since 2012….at that time my Bluepoint Birman/Siamese girl Nylablue was the main character of the blog….since Dec. 2014 it has been Purrince Siddhartha henry the Burmese kittyboy who is aspiring to be a Buudhist (Buddhist) kat….
I started blogging on Yahoo way back in 2005 with my Bluepoint Siamese Mingflower…..that blog was closed down in 2012 & I lost all the posts….such is life….
Enjoy the read…take your time. And thank you for checking us out!
